Tara Valletta, owner of Sophie's Dog House, is extremely passionate about providing the best service possible in her pet sitting and pet photography services. Tara received her initial animal knowledge by becoming a Certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and apprenticed under Jim Barry of RI Dog Guy (www.ridogguy.com). Once completed, she developed her own obedience programs and continued her education through attending seminars and conferences, reading books and watching educational videos. Tara is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (#35718). Tara is also a former foster mother for the Friends of Homeless Animals rescue organization based out of Providence, RI. She has been implementing positive reinforcement training methods for over 4 years. Sophie, her 7 year old Boston Terrier was the inspiration behind Sophie's Dog House and is even an active member in the marketing and advertising of the business!
